Germany's Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, has stressed that a peaceful resolution to the Russia-Ukraine conflict requires clear security guarantees for Ukraine. She stated this on Sunday on the social media platform X, as reported by "European Truth."

The minister noted that Europe stands firmly alongside Ukraine, regardless of the plans of Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin.

"A peaceful settlement requires clear security guarantees for Ukraine – we Europeans are ready for this together with the USA. No negotiations about Ukraine without Ukraine," the German Foreign Minister insisted.

As is known, former US President Donald Trump has supported the idea of providing security guarantees for Ukraine. Trump stated that this would not be a NATO mission. Ukraine hopes that the USA will play some role in the mission.
